ON JULY 19, 2018, SOMEWHERE OPENED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN BOTANICA, A BEAUTIFUL COCKTAIL BAR IN RED HOOK, BROOKLYN. OUr first pop-up ran for over five months. through brutal summer heat and snowy winter chills, we served the neighborhood and its visitors countless drinks and pastries, threw crazy parties, were in a film shoot, worked insane hours, and (more or less) loved every moment of it. WE SPENT OUR SOPHOMORE SUMMER IN UHURU DESIGN’S gorgeous SHOWROOM! THE BRIGHT AND AIRY RED HOOK GARAGE SPACE WAS THE PERFECT BACKDROP FOR OUR COFFEE, TEA, AND LEMONADE. we whiled away the summer hours staring at beautiful furniture and getting the neighborhood addicted to matcha. We also debuted new cold brew teas, new single origin coffees, new pastries, and our new (used) espresso machine!
